Day 1 & A Bit.

by gogsblogs @ 18. 04. 08 - 12:39:06

It is not easy being King of the Isle of Gog. My fellow islanders understand the stress and the strains of looking after our island, because we are only the caretakers of the Isle of Gog, we have to look after it for the future generations to come. That could be said of our world, we must remember that there is only one planet Earth, and we must learn to share it, and look after it for our children, and our children's children, and our children's, children's, children, and our children's, children's, children's, children.
If you look at this planet as one big party, we are all enjoying the party, but others can't get to the party, and then we pass on the party,( the party being, in this instance, the planet Earth) to our children, but there's not much farming being done, the crops have failed, yet again, so the food supply to our party is being eroded away. What we must do therefore, is grow our own vegetables, not use up so much of our planets resources, leave some for those that will follow us. Don't drink all the booze at once, leave some for those that will come after us.
The Isle of Gog is a green Isle. We are looking at the possibility of wind turbines, as a natural source of power, but we don't want to kill off any wildlife by doing so, apart from the seagulls. So we are looking at the pro's and con's of Wind Power, and wave power, perhaps we need a combination of 3 types of power sources, maybe 4, wave, wind, and solar, the 4th, well that's nuclear energy. I want to be a good King Gog, and provide my fellow islanders with a future that looks bright, but not orange, a future for families.
That is all for just now. It is not all that easy being a King. Good day To You All:**:

Day 1.

by gogsblogs @ 18. 04. 08 - 09:07:29

Weather report: A fine settled day on the Isle of Gog today, a bit windy towards the rear. No rain forecast today. Temperature will reach a high of 10 degrees centigrade, which is something degrees fartenheight.
No news today. No visitors today, however our coastguard patrol are keeping a close eye on things, and if any tourists try to reach the Isle of Gog, they will be shot on sight.
That is all I have to report today. This is King Gog, of the Isle of Gog, signing off. Off
